Adding Internal Signatures on Exchange 2010 for a Pilot Group / Single Domain

The below article explains how to add an internal signature to a Pilot Group / Single Domain in Exchange 2010.

  1. Decide what information you require on internal signatures.  Once that has been decide you will need to modify the below piece of HTML with only the information you require on internal signatures.

     </tr>
    </table>

    For instance if you only require;

    • Staff Name
    • Title
    • Phone
    • Country

    The HTML would look like:

  3. Login to your Exchange Management Console
  4. Click on the Hub Transport option under Organization Configuration

  5. Click on Transport Rules
  6. Click New Transport Rule
  7. Call the New Transport Rule “Internal Signatures - Pilot”

  8. In the Conditions box check the “sent to users that are inside or outside the organization, or partners” option and make sure the option is set to “Inside the organization”
  9. Also check the “when the From address contains specific words” option

  10. Click “specific words” in step 2
  11. Add the domain name in the words box and click add

  12. Click OK
  13. Click Next >
  14. In the Actions box check the  “append disclaimer text and fallback to action if unable to apply”

  15. Click on the “disclaimer text” in step 2
  16. Copy and paste the HTML snippet that you modified earlier into the disclaimer text box

  17. Press OK
  18. Click Next >

  19. Click Next > again
  20. Click New

  21. Click Finish
