Thunderbird POP/IMAP Setup

To have your new stunning looking emails, follow the below instructions to start routing emails via Black Pearl Mail.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to contact support on support@blackpearlmail.com or log into Black Pearl Mail and click on Live Support

  1. Open Thunderbird
  2. From the Tools menu choose Account Settings
  3. Select Outgoing Server (SMTP) in the left-hand column
  4. Click Add...
  5. Description: Black Pearl Mail
  6. Server Name: smtp.blackpearlmail.com
  7. Port: 465
  8. Ensure Connection security is set to SSL/TLS
  9. Ensure Authentication method is set to Normal Password
  10. For username use your email adddress (it will ask for your password when you first go to send a message, which is the one setup for Black Pearl)
  11. Click OK
  12. Select the new Black Pearl Mail server and click Set Default
  13. click OK
  14. Close Thunderbird
  15. Restart Thunderbird and send a test email to check your emails are now being branded
  16. You are up and running!
